What should I include in an RFQ?
Please send the exact manufacturer part number, a short component description and the quantity required. Add the aircraft or engine model where relevant, your preferred condition and the delivery destination. If you are requesting several items, use one clearly identified line for each part so the quantities and conditions can be reviewed separately.
How should I describe an urgent AOG requirement?
Put AOG in the email subject line and state the date and destination required. Include a direct contact number and the name of the person coordinating the request. Explain whether you can consider alternatives, rather than leaving the acceptable part numbers or conditions open to interpretation. Availability and delivery arrangements remain subject to confirmation.
What if I cannot find my part in the inventory?
The published inventory is only one starting point for an enquiry. You can still send an exact part number for sourcing review. An empty search result does not confirm that a component can or cannot be sourced. Use our inventory search and component capabilities to explore the categories, then contact us with the details of your requirement.
Which documents should I mention?
State the supporting documents your organisation requires, together with any specific traceability or condition requirements. Please include these details before quotation so they can be discussed against the particular sourcing option. The technical team responsible for the aircraft should determine suitability and installation requirements.
